SME Finance Programme Training

Enterprise Partners (EP) facilitated a one-week refresher training aimed at enhancing access to finance for SMEs in Ethiopia. The training took place between July 23^rd – 27^th, 2018 at the Awash International Bank, training center.

The main objective of the refresher training was to present the concept of SME financing and related lending methodologies to banks to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide SME financing services at their respective branches. There were 26 people in attendance from Awash Bank, United Bank, Berhan Bank and Enat Bank. The training prepared participants on how to appraise loan requests through cash flow based business-analytic tools.

Enterprise Partners continues to provide critical support in reinforcing the implementation of new policies, procedures and appraisal tools designed to expand outreach and successfully target the SME Market in Ethiopia.
