Enterprise Partners launching YPDP 2.0

Thursday 30th August 2019 – Enterprise Partners has signed a contract with the Ethiopian Investment Commission to launch the second phase of the Young Professional Development Programme. The Young Professional Development Programme was initiated as part of the Ethiopian Investment Commission’s strategic approach for capacity development, through the facilitation of Enterprise Partners.  The Young Professional Development Programme is a one-year training and three-year work placement programme that was designed to improve the service delivery and performance of the Ethiopian Investment Commission.

The programme will be enrolling outstanding young professionals in an intensive and exceedingly tailored training program in skills, knowledge and work ethics for eventual placement within the Commission.  In November 2016, 15 Young Professionals were selected out of 315 applicants to undergo key features of the program. The programme included on the job and classroom training and the cohort graduated after a year on the job training. The scale-up, based on the success of the first round, has filtered 20 young graduates out of 574 applicants.
